Present Situation and Developing Trend of Real-time Database

主要就实时数据库的一些基本问题以及嵌入式实时数据库系统 (ERTDBS)的特性、与传统DBS的区别 ,以及今后值得重视和研究的问题进行探讨。时间是实时系统 (RTS)中的一个主要资源 ,快速性、可预测性和容错性是RTS的重要特征。实时数据库系统 (RTDBS)必须提供正确性、及时性和主动性等功能特性。嵌入式实时数据库系统 (ERTDBS)具有定时限制的特性和分布式的特性。对ERTDBS与RTDBS的事务和数据特性进行了比较。

Some basic questions of real time database and the characteristics of embedding real time database system(ERTDBS)are mainly discussed.Also,the differences between ERTDBS and the traditional database system(DBS) are shown.Moreover,the problems which should be paid more attention to study in the future are put forward. Time is one of the principal resources of Real Time System(RTS) and rapidity,predictability and fault tolerance are the important features of RTS. Real Time Data Base System(RTDBS) must provide the functional characteristics such as correctness, timeliness and initiative and so on, while Embedding Real Time Data Base System is of the characteristics as time limit and distribution. Then, the routine work and data characteristics between ERTDBS and RTDBS are compared.
