Challenges and Prospect for Class Counselors in Institutions of Higher Learning

当前 ,我国有相当一部分高等院校在学生管理中一直沿用班主任制度。但是随着新世纪的到来 ,高等教育改革的进一步深入发展 ,学生数量急剧增加 ,这类院校是否还需要或还能否继续采用班主任制度呢 ?为了客观地评价现有的高校班主任制度 。

Many of Chinas institutions of higher learning have been using an administration mechanism with class counselors. With the deepening of reforms in higher education and enlarged enrollments, is it still necessary or possible to continue using this mechanism? This paper reports and analyzes the results of some surveys of the administration mechanism with class counselors to make an objective assessment of the situation.
