中国学界的正统观点认为老子的人生态度是消极无为。这是一种误解。实际上老子的人生态度主要体现在三个方面 :一是老子以生命为至尊 ;二是老子人生态度的主体是积极入世 ;
The orthodox viewpoint around China academic circles regards LaoTzu's (ancient philosopher) life attitude as passive and idle. However, it is a misconception. Based on the conscientious study of 'Tao Te Ching' by LaoTzu, the author explores LaoTzu's life attitude from three aspects, and has arrived at three conclusions which are: (1) LaoTzu believes that life is the most lofty thing. (2) The main part of LaoTzu's life attitude is positive. (3) There are some passive elements in his life attitude.
