民办高校科研工作发展的思考

Reflection on How to Develop Scientific Research In Non-governmental Higher Educational Institutions

发展历史短、重视程度不够,科研人才缺乏,经费投入不足等原因造成民办高校科研水平发展的整体落后。民办高校应加强科研激励,加强科研团队建设,注重整体力量的发挥。还要与学科建设相结合,加强科研基地、创新平台建设。同时应健全科研管理体制,理顺科研管理关系。为了更好地推动科研工作开展,还要减轻教师负担,鼓励教师进修,培养教师的创新能力。

Non-governmental higher educational institutions have been just established in recent years with far less attention to the scientific research. Lack of research personal and funds has also lead to the falling of scientific research in non-governmental higher educational institutions far behind the governmental ones. Non-governmental higher educaitonal institutions should promote the scientific research motivation, strengthen the construction of scientific research teams. They should also reinforce the construction of base and platform for scientific research work with an aim to improve the management system, reduce the teachers’ burden, enhance the incentives and establish training system. At the same time the developing of teachers’ innovative ability should also be considered
