单疱病毒Ⅰ型在角膜内潜伏感染的基因研究

Viral genomes investigations on the latent infection of herpes simplex virus type 1 in the cornea

目的:探讨单纯疱疹病毒Ⅰ型(HSV-1)是否可在正常和病变角膜组织内潜伏感染。方法:应用聚合酶链反应(PCR)技术检测正常角膜、结膜组织和单疱病毒角膜炎(HSK)稳定期角膜白斑及非HSK角膜白斑中的HSV-1基因DNA片段。结果:18例正常角膜上皮中HSV-1DNA阳性1例,13例HSK稳定期白斑中阳性8例,8例其他角膜白斑中阳性3例,10例正常球结膜组织中均阴性。结论:HSV-1可潜伏于正常和病变的角膜组织中,尤其HSK稳定期角膜白斑中。

To investigate whether herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) may be latent in normal and diseased cornea tissue, Methods: HSV-1 gene DNA was detected in normal cornea, conjunctiva and corneal leukoma related herpes simplex keratitis (HSK) and non-HSK by means of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results. HSV-1 genomic sequences was positive in 1 of the 18 normal corneal epithelium specimens, 8 of the 13 HSK leukoma and 3 of the 8 non-HSK leukoma specimens, but in none of the 10 normal conjunctiva specimens. Conclusions: HSV -1 may be maintained in a latent state in the normal and diseased corneas, especially in the HSK corneal leukoma.
