Removal of nonmagnetic metallic foreign body in posterior segment orbit

目的:X线电视监视下手术摘出眶后段非磁性金属异物。方法:在X线电视下手术治疗44例(年龄6～52岁)眶后段异物,异物为铜、铅、铝合金和金,以汽枪弹为主;大小从1.0×1.5mm到10.0×12.0mm。结果:异物全部被成功摘出,无并发症,术后视力优于术前。结论:在X线电视下手术摘出眶后段非磁性金属异物是目前较好的一种方法。

Purpose:To remove the nonmagnetic metallic foreign body in posterior segment orbit by surgery. Methods. 44 patients (aged from 6 to 52 years old)injured by the foreign bodies including copper, lead., aluminium or gold and mostly by lead-bullets of pneumatic guns (size of which from 1×1.5 mm to 10 × 12mm) were treated. Nonmagnetic foreign bodies were removed under an X-ray TV. Results. Nonmagnetic metallic foreign bodies were removed successfully and without any complication. The visual ability of the patients was improved. Conclusions. It seems to be a goodway to remove the nonmagnetic metallic foreign body in posterior segment orbit under an X-ray TV.
