Endoscopic inferior and/or middle turbinoplasty is a minimally invasive technique for the correction of turbi-nate hypertrophy or deformity. This approach gives excellent visualization, reduces traumatisms of the surrounding structures and has low rate of post surgical complications. Reviewing a series of 280 turbinoplasties performed under endoscopical control and local anaesthesia, the author stresses the advantages of this procedure on the improvement of nasal airways patency and maintains nasal mucosal physiological functions.
