中国的设计始于上世纪80年代,那时中国的门户刚刚打开,四面八方‘风’吹来,多少令我们有些措手不及,这一点从发展初期存在严重西化倾向的设计作品中便可知一二。在外来文化的猛烈攻势下,我们似乎一下子迷失了自己的方向,中国的传统文化也似乎一度到了束之高阁的边缘。然而随着时代的进步和我国设计实践的深入,大多数设计师又逐渐认识到了重新审视本土文化的重要性,在这方面也不断有开明的设计师作着大量有益尝试,目的在于找到如何实现传统文化和现代设计的有机融合的途径、方法。事实上,笔者认为,也只有这样,中国的明日设计之路上才能亮起一盏明灯。

The design of China begins from the 80’s when the Chinese gate just opened. At that time,all kinds of foreign design ideas inbursted. It’s so strong that caused our local design in the early years completely west turned, even our designer seemed had almost forgotten our local culture. Gradually,along with the progress of ages, the mass of designers start to know the importance of re-examining our local culture to make the traditional and modern design introjected organically, when it comes to the approch, some enlightened have done much such work. In fact, Only we do like this, our chinese design road tomorrow would have a bright light.
