Discussion of the Book form Design from the Aspect of the Function

书籍形态设计作为人类造物艺术,体现着一般造物活动的功能需求,本文就是从书籍形态的功能角度出发,以读者需求的不同层面依次对书籍设计进行分析概括,探讨如何从功能的多样性,即阅读功能、认知功能和审美功能三个方面来完成理想的书籍形态设计,并倡导设计者形成新的设计观念。

As one part of the human creation art, the form design of books embodies the functional demands of general creation activities. This paper is to approach how to design ideal book form from the variety of function, i.e. reading, cognition and aesthetics, and to guide the designer to new design concept, which starts from the aspects of the function of the book form and the variety of readers’ demands.
