唐朝国力强盛,经济繁荣,商贸往来和中外文化交流频繁。长沙窑是东西方文化的最佳结合点。公元9世纪开始,中国陶瓷对伊斯兰世界的制陶业影响巨大。同时,伊斯兰艺术对长沙窑装饰艺术影响较深。长沙窑敢于创新,注重汲取亚洲各个国家不同民族的装饰风格。
China during the Tang Dynasty enjoyed a very affluent economy as a strong nation, and the culture exchange and trade transaction with the foreign world boomed then. The porcelain wares of Changsha kiln reflect the integration between eastern and western Cultures. From the 9th century Chinese ceramics exerted great influence on the pottery industry of the Islamic world. At the same time, the decorative art of Changsha kiln was also influenced by Islamic art deeply, it combined different decorative arts from the west Asian countries and nations, and was really an innovation of ware arts of China.
