文章将造型方法的演变过程归结为模写-构成-生成三个过程,并指出:随着人们对自然形态认识的不断加深,造型思想呈现出由感性向理性、由关注形态表象向关注形态生成规律发展的强烈趋势,数字化生成的造型方法是沿着这一趋势对传统造型思想和方法的延续和发展。在此基础上,文章进一步分析了形态数字化生成的意义和真谛在于开拓崭新的造型领域,创造"源于自然,高于自然"并表现"自然界内在深层之美"的人工艺术世界。最后,对数字化生成的形态有别于传统形态的崭新特点进行了初步的分析和探讨。

As the understanding of nature form goes far, the artificial form creation becomes more and more rational. As a new method of form creation, digitized generation of form also aims at creating an artificial world ,which reflects the deep beauty of the nature.
