Theme Design under the New Technologies

室内设计是根据建筑物的使用性质、所处环境,运用物质技术手段和建筑美学原理,创造功能合理、舒适优美、满足人们物质和精神生活需要的室内环境。这一空间环境既具有使用价值,满足相应的功能要求,同时也反映了历史文脉、建筑风格、环境气氛等精神因素。因此"创造满足人们物质和精神生活需要的室内环境"作为室内设计的目的,即以人为本,一切围绕为人的生活生产活动创造美好的室内环境。物质满足的同时,人们对精神的需求就更为突显。在新技术背景下,在反映历史文脉、建筑风格、环境气氛等精神因素中,主题设计成为现今的主流。

B ased on the use and environment of buildings,interior design is to create reasonable-function and comfortable indoor environment to meet material and spiritual needs of people, by using material and technical means and principles of arch itectural aesthetics.The space environment has not only a use value to meet functional requirements, but also can reflect the spiritual factors,such as historical context,architectural sty le, and atmosphere etc.. Therefore,the aim of interior design, which is'to create the indoor environment to satisfy people's material and spiritual needs', means people-oriented and to create good indoor environment according to human’s life and productive activities. People’s spiritual requirements are becoming more and more prominent while the material demands are being met. On the background of new technologies,theme design becomes the trend nowadays in reflecting the spiritual factors such as the historical context,architectural style, and environmental atmosphere,etc.
