Pleat,as a kind of condition of materials,is inextricably linked with the form of lives.Especially it is being as a kind of condition of materials which is a specific form on human body by wearing a clothing.It is not only a reflection of the sense of space and strength of flu,but a fresh sense of life.Xu Lei said that Pleat,sometimes,reflects the soul.I think that words are very incisive.Based on the knowledge of the formation and morphological of pleat,and on comparison the Aesthetics of pleat in the classical painting and the sculpture area between the East and the West,this paper will answer the question which is what is the aesthetic value of pleat,will analysis on the links of pleat,human body and clothing,and will discusses the aesthetic value of pleat in the field of fashion art between the East and the West.
