What’s Wrong with the Chinese Character?——Reconsidering the Present Situation of the Character Design

本文以国际化发展背景为前提,针对目前国内设计界汉字元素的设计与应用较为薄弱这一现象,客观地分析该问题背后存在的各种原因,通过对汉字本身的演变发展与其独特性的阐述,辩证地探讨由于字母语言文化的冲击给汉字的应用带来的挑战与机遇,力求挖掘汉字在设计中的可发展潜力,以此充分展现出汉民族文化内容与思想价值,使汉字的字体设计发扬光大。

This article takes internationalization development background as a premise,in view of the weak present phenomenon of domestic Chinese character element design and an application,objectively analyzes each kind of reason which behind this question,dialectically discusses the challenge and the opportunity because of the letter language culture impact brings for the Chinese character application through the development of Chinese character evolution itself,make every effort to excavate the Chinese character to be possible to develop the potential in the design,fully unfolds the Han nationality culture content and the thought value,so as to carry forward the typeface design of the Chinese character.
