柱础,作为中国古代建筑构件的一种,俗又称磉盘。它是承受屋柱压力的垫基石,凡是木架结构的房屋,可谓柱柱皆有,缺一不可。因此,人们对柱础的使用均十分重视。本文就山西这一北方古建筑的荟萃地,透过山西境内的石窟、寺庙、民居里的代表性柱础的发展和变迁,从中去品读山西古建筑文化的精神与内涵。

As a member of China's ancient architecture, the foundation of pillars is under pressure from the housing-pad cornerstone. As long as the house made with timbers,each pillar has it.therefore,people has paid a lot of attention to the foundation of pillars. In this paper, the ancient buildings in Shanxi province on the north, through the development and changes of the foundation of pillars in Shanxi province, from which to read it for the spirit and meaning.
