设计与非设计——重庆市区街头文字考察启示录

Design & Non-Design,Revelation of Street Characters' Survey in Chongqing City

本文以城市街头文字为研究着眼点,以视觉文化的角度对重庆城市街头文字进行考察。这些文字本身所传递的信息不是我所关注的重点,而是把这些文字当作视觉造型,通过解构街头文字的表象来探求他们所呈现出来的特殊视觉形态,期望从中获得一些设计元素和设计表现方式的启示。另外,通过非设计的偶然形态与设计的必然形态的对比,思考街头文字的文化现象与设计的关系。

With an eye to urban street characters,the article gives a research to the visual culture in respect of visual culture.The importance which I lay stress on is exploring the special visual modality through analyses the presentation of street characters,in the hopes of gaining some indications of design elements and form of expression,rather than the informations transmitted by the characters themselves.And,moreover,hammer out the relationship among civilization of street characters and design by contrasting the non-designedly occasional modality and designedly inevitable modality.
