陕西"关中"地区,素有"八百里秦川"的美誉。作为中华民族十三朝古都和五千年文化的发祥地,它承载了一个民族所走过的兴衰起落的全部记忆,这种记忆贯穿了这个地域乃至整个华夏民族的精神和文化,作为一名中国的设计师应立足于现实,深刻审视华夏民族的历史和的文化,同时,结合当地的地域特征和文化传统,做出符合地域性人文关怀的作品。在历史积淀气魄雄浑的关中地区,室内设计作品也应体现出历史记忆的延续性。文章结合实例探讨了延续记忆的具体方法。
