Analyzing of New Product Design Process Based on Reverse Engineering

逆向工程技术是工业设计的加速器,利用这项技术可以缩短新产品的开发周期,提高工作效率,降低产品的开发成本。文章从视觉心理学的角度分析了逆向工程给工业设计带来的"限制设计师思维"的问题,分析了逆向工程的滥用给中国工业设计带来的影响,提出了一种新的产品创新设计流程,即将逆向工程融合到产品开发的不同阶段,既能充分运用逆向工程为产品设计服务,又将逆向工程带来的负面影响降到最低。

Reverse engineering is an accelerator for industrial design.Using this technology,product development cycle was reduced,working efficiency was improved and the design cost was decreased.In this article,it was analyzed in visual psychology that innovations of designers are restriction because of using reverse engineering. And the influence leaded to abuse of reverse engineering for industrial design in china was also mentioned. Then a new product design flow,integrating reverse engineering smoothly into industrial design,was brought forward.By this means,reverse engineering would be better applicable to industrial design.
