苏州博物馆新馆是贝聿铭晚年的"封刀"之作,是继香山饭店的又一次对中国建筑的诠释和贡献,其主要特色就在于传统与现代的完美结合,让传统符号与现代精神融为一体,在不失中国特色的前提下彰显时代特色,文章主要通过造型布局、色彩形式、和传统文化精神这三大主要方面分析苏州博物馆对中国传统文化符号的运用,得出古为今用的当代形式和当代意义。

Suzhou museum is the last work of Bei Yuming,it is another explanation and contribution of Chinese constraction after Fragrant Hill Hotel.It's main characteristic is the perfect combination between traditional and modern,the traditional symbol and modern spirited as a whole,reveal the era characteristics on the condition of hold Chinese characteristic.This essay main analyse the use of Chinese traditional cultural symbol in design of Suzhou museum through three acpects:sculpt,colour and the traditional cultural spirit,come to the modern form and meaning of the use of traditional to modern.
