龙凤图形既是华夏人民智慧的凝结,又是民族认同的象征。这两种图形与其他许多图形一样,曾一度是氏族权利的象征,但随着时间的推移和历史的进步,文化语境的变化,众多图形的形象或者涵义已经因为不合时宜而慢慢淡化,但龙凤图案却异化成为一种文化符号而传承下来,并越来越受到全世界华人的推崇,已然成为整个中华民族的代名词。文章正是从这点出发探讨不同文化语境中龙凤形象的运用,以及新文化语境下传统图案延续生命力的形式。
