It is Imperative that Higher Education on Industrial Design Major in China Nowadays Should Be in Line with the International Design Education

当下的中国要保持高速发展势头并实现可持续发展,必需寻求经济转型作为突破。从历史的长河中,我们不难认看出:工业设计是经济转型的一把利器;目前中国发展中国家的地位、有待深入发展和稳固的经济实力及我国在工业设计领域的研究和贡献,共同客观决定了现阶段国内的工业设计高等教育必需与国际教育接轨,先做好现在的追赶才谈得上将来的超越;而且现在不是二十年前提口号做宣讲可做可不做的时候,是势在必行的实干时期。

Today's China has to find breakthrough points for Economic Transition as a purpose to keep developing fast and sustainably. Looking back the history, it is not difficult to recognize that industrial design is a efficient instrument of Economic Transition, and the status that China is still a developing country which should go further and stably, and the less researches or contributes in industrial design area have be done in China, so all of above together and impersonally determine domestic industrial design high education should be in line with the international design education in this stage. Doing well now makes transcending in future possibly. It is not a time of shouting out a watchword or doing less. It is imperative to act now.
