The CPAFFC and the Academy of International Business Officials (AIBO) under the Ministry of Commerce jointly held a seminar for leaders of friendship-with-China organizations in African countries between June 14 and 27. Lectures, visits and other activities were arranged for the 34 participants, who also took part in the Third FOCAC Seminar on China-Africa NGOs, and visited Hunan Province to see the former residence of Chairman Mao Zedong in Shaoshan and investigate rural conditions under the government’s "new countryside" policy.
