Steam turbine is a main component of thermal power plant,and its vane is lifeline.The vane's integrity influences sate and satable running or unit.Though analysis and research,the paper summarizes ultrasonic wave examining method on turbine's root of vane with fault detection principle of ultrasonic,and it can apply to Qiaotou thermal power plant.
