This paper describes the advantage of scrap steel resource,detailedly explain the requirement and utilization status of China’s scrap steel resource,,and predicts the China’s future generation and demand condition.In order to meet the development requirement of nowadays iron and steel industry,such as energy-saving,consumption-reduction and environment-protection,we should vigorously develop the scrap processing industry and speed up the scrap resource utilization to achieve sustainable development of China’s iron and steel industry battle.
