The half-year performance statement published by ZhuhaiZhongfu Enterprise Co.,Ltd.(SZ:000659) shows that in thefirst half of 2005 the company accomplished a main-businessrevenue of RMB1117.4189 million,an increase of 23.36% overthe same period of last year,a net main-business profit ofRMB217.2072 million,an increase of 1.79% and a net profit ofRMB55.4509 million,a drop of 35 72%.The per-share earningwas RMB0.08.The main reason for the increase of the revenue but the reduction ofthe profit is that the sustained oil price rise in the international marketled to a high price of raw material PET Chip and produced a great costpressure on the operation of the company.
