During January to June,2005,China’spetrochemical industry achievedsales revenue of RMB1481.681 billion,increasing by 35.41% compared withthe same period of last year,and re-corded total profit of RMB171.473billions,a rise of 37.28%.Presently 98 petrochemical com-panies that are listed publicly in do-mestic stock market disclosed theireconomic report for the first half of2005.They have achieved an averagegrowth of 27.04% for the sales rev-enue and an average growth of 42.17%
