The renovation project in Jilin Fuel Al-cohol Co., Ltd. has been launched toexpand the capacity to 400 000 t/a. Thecompany is the first large fuel alcoholproduction base in China. With the vig-orous application dissemination of ve-hicle-use alcohol gasoline in Jilin andLiaoning, the sales amount of fuel al-cohol in the company has made asteady increase. Since the beginning of2005, the average sales amount hasbeen maintained at more than 20 000tons a month. The project has a totalinvestment of RMB227.92 million.
