Direct Investments in ForeignCountries Increased by 31%According to the information from the Ministry of Commerce,Chi-nese direct investments (non-financial) in foreign countriesreached US$16.13 billion in 2006,an increase of 31.6% over 2005.Total direct investments in foreign countries amounted toUS$73.33 billion by the end of 2006.
