Construction on the 4 500 t/a poly-crystalline silicon project to belaunched by Wuxi Suntech Power Co.,Ltd.(Wuxi Suntech) in Qinghai will bestarted in the first half 2007.The com-pany is engaged in the research,pro-duction and sales of crystal silicon so-lar cells,components and photovol-taic power generation systems.Theearly-stage design of the project is al-ready completed and the productionwill be started after one year and ahalf of the construction.
