On April 13th,China Petroleum & Chemi-cal Corporation(Sinopec Corp.)andChina National Cereals,Oils & Food-stuffs Corporation(COFCO)signed anagreement on jointly developing bio-energy and bio-chemicals.Under the agreement,fuel alcohol fa-cilities would be jointly built with aplanned capacity of 1-1.2 million tonsper year within five years.
