On January 5th,2009 Tianjin Tianyao PharmaceuticalCo.,Ltd.(Tianjin Tianyao,SH:600488)announced thatit had passed authentication of COS from the EuropeanDirectorate for the Quality of Medicine & Healthcare(EDQM)for its two products-Methylprednisoloneand Spironolactone in December 2008.By the end of2008,six products of Tianjin Tianyao have passed au-thentication of COSAccording to a source from Tianjin Tianyao,the com-pany will enjoy tax preference in the next three years dueto confirmation as a high-tech enterprise.
