PolyethyleneIn early February 2009, Sinopec Corp. andPetroChina constantly lifted their quotedprices of PE (polyethylene), China’s PEprices therefore were up steadily.From mid-February to late February, becauseof price drop of crude oil in the internationalmarket and increase of imported goods, domesticPE producers lowered their quoted prices ofPE in succession, so the price of PE decreasedconsiderably with few trading actions.
