On September 1 st,2009 The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) proposed to add fifteenchemicals to an EU list of "substance of very high concerns" (SVHCs).Chemicals on thislist could eventually be subject to tough authorization requirements under the REACHregulation after public comment period.In October 2008,the first batches of 15 SVHCs were announced on ECHA’s officialwebsite.In June 2009,ECHA added 7 SVHCs in the Authorization List.The number of SVHCs in the Authorization List keeps increasing,and chemical makershave to optimize their production process and use environmentally friendly raw
