In earlier August,Harbin Chengtong Engineering Plastics Company started to constructa 200 000 t/a modified plastic materials for automobile applications inHanan Industry New City,Harbin of Heilongjiang province.The company willspend RMB1.44 billion in the project,including 50 modification lines in 200 thousandsquare meters site.The factory is scheduled for online in 2013 to producemodified polypropylene,modified acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene,plastic alloy,modified polyamide and specialty engineering plastics.The produced materialswill be used to make parts of automobiles,large machines,trains,ships etc.
