China’s textile industry continued to recover its growth in the first half of 2010,while the growth rate slowed down.Experts predicted that the growth rate willfurther shrink in the second half.Boom in the first half is mainly from the domestic demand,experts said.Thesales revenue for the domestic market increased 28.26% year-on-year,raising17.55 percentage points over H1 of 2009.The sales revenue for the domesticmarket contributed 81.58% share in the total sales revenue of the textile industryin the first six months,up 1.35 percentage points over H1 of 2009.A manager from China Textile Industry Association disclosed that the goodperformance of the industry was driven by the steady growth of the output andsales volume.The total industrial production value in the first half of 2010 reachedR.MB2 117.1 billion,up 25.45% year-on-year,raising 19.01 percentage points.The total sales revenue reached RMB2 0661.79 billion,up 0.31 percentage point.According to statistics from the customs,China’s textile exports maintainedcomeback in the first half of 2010.The export value reached US$35.65 billion,up 32.31% from a year earlier.
