WACKER is strengthening its position inthe Chinese market for high-quality bindersand polymer additives by expanding itssite in Nanjing. The Munich-based chemicalGroup is investing about Euro 10 millionin the Nanjing polymers site to increasecapacities for vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE)copolymer dispersions. The fully integratedsite offers VAE copolymer dispersions anddispersible polymer powders for theconstruction,coatings,adhesives and otherindustries. The additional facilities arescheduled to come on stream in the thirdquarter of 2011.The WACKER Nanjing site is a fully integratedworld-class production complexwhich serves the entire product line fromvinyl acetate ethylene copolymer
