Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co Ltd (SH:600075) announced onNovember 5th the inauguration of a particle caustic soda unitat Shihezi North Industrial Zone of Xinjiang region. This unithas a capacity of 150 000 t/a,bringing the company’s totalcapacity of particle caustic soda to 450 000 t/a. It is the firstone of the two 150 000 t/a caustic soda units designed tomatch the phase two 400 000 t/a polyvinyl chloride unit thatstarted up in earlier October.
