Improving the Energy End Use the Crux to the Solution of Energy Related Environmental Problems

认为中国的能源问题应当主要立足于国内解决；由于煤炭占据一次能源主导地位的格局难以改变，发展洁净煤技术是现实选择；应当减少煤炭作为终端消费的数量，通过转化使终端能源高效洁净；要提高能源利用效率，强化节能，同时要对煤炭开发利用产生的污染进行全过程控制。

Abstract The article takes it for granted that the energy problem should be solved mainly relying on the domestic resources. However, it is impossible to change the primary energy structure in which coal plays a major role. Development of clean coal technology is a practical choice, for it will surely reduce the use of coal in the energy end use structure. That is to realize a highly efficient and clean use of energy with the help of conversion. Improvements are to be made in raising the energy utilization efficiency, strengthened energy conservation and intensified control over pollution linked with coal production and consumption.
