从翻译美学来看孟浩然《春晓》的英译 被引量:9

On the English Versions of Meng Haoran's Chuanxiao

摘要 唐诗是我国文学史上一颗璀璨的明珠,唐诗及其翻译在世界文坛上也是久享盛誉。本文从一首家喻户晓的唐诗《春晓》的英译着手,以翻译美学观切入汉诗英译研究,对十四位译者的十五种译本进行了比较分析。本文旨在阐明:诗歌翻译虽属文学翻译,但又不等同于普通文学翻译;只有遵循并将更完善、更系统的翻译美学理论付诸于实践,诗歌翻译才能做得至臻至美。 Poetry in the Tang Dynasty is a brilliant pearl in Chinese literature, and its translations, also, are long reputed throughout the world. On the standpoint of translation aesthetics, this paper sets out from an analysis of a popular Tang poem -- Meng Haoran's Chun Xiao, to make a comparative study of its 15 English versions by 14 translators. The paper endeavors to shed light that though poetry translation belongs to the literary translation, they are not quite the same; and that only by adhering to its principles and applying a more complete and systematic translation theory of aesthetics to practice, can poetry translation develop into a perfect realm.
