摘要
作者对写作研究的代表性观点进行对比验察和评论后,从目的-互动原则出发对二语写作和写作能力的内涵与特点重新进行界定、解释和描述。研究发现,写作是作者作为认识主体为实现某一特定现实目的而运用语言文字反映客观事物、表达思想感情的一种创造性社会实践活动;写作能力是作者使用目标语言以书面形式为完成某写作任务和实现特定现实目的(多为交际目的)而在社会互动中进行思想、信息和情感传递的创造性能力。
The author enumerates the weak points of various representative viewpoints about research findings related to writing and writing ability after making a careful analysis of and comparison between them. He then makes a tentative probe into writing by employing the Goal-Interaction Principle as its guiding theoretical principle and offers a new definition, interpretation and description of writing and writing ability. It is concluded that writing is a creative social practice in which a writer, as the perceiver of the world, uses a target language in written form to reflect the world and express his thoughts and feelings so as to achieve a certain goal. His writing ability is how well he can reach the goal by writing in specific situations, considering his interaction with all factors involved in the context created.
