Women's liberation movement in China was a top-down social change, driven strongly by the State. During the early stage of PRC,state presence,as a construction force, embedded state will in daily lives of masses by way of women liberation. The masses, especially the women, who felt the real presence of the state, would recognize state authority, thus the state achieved integration and penetration of the whole society.
