摘要
一直以来关于新闻的定义可谓异彩纷呈,让人莫衷一是,其根源主要在于认识主体的不同、新闻自身的发展变化以及符号意义的多样性。这种众说纷纭的状况严重制约了新闻学的建设与发展。为了解决这一瓶颈问题,本文试从符号学、语义学的角度,把新闻的定义界定为新闻就是用来报道新近或正在发生的事实的文本,并从逻辑、基本范畴、学科建设、理论发展的层面对这一定义的科学意义作了说明。
Definition of news has been variable all along so that people have no consensus on it.Its main causes are diversely cognitive subjects,development of news itself,as well as the diversity of symbolic significance.The multifarious definitions seriously hampered the foundation and development of Journalism.In order to solve this problem,this paper tries to define news from the semiotics and semantics aspects as text which is used to report something freshly happened or proceeding,and expound the new definition from logic,basic conception,subject construction,theory development aspect.
