中级阶段如何扩大留学生的词汇量

How to Enlarge the Vocabulary Size of Foreign Students in the Intermediate Stage

词汇是语言的核心,词汇知识与第二语言综合能力有着密切的关系,所以词汇教学应该在对外汉语教学中占有重要的位置,特别是到了中级阶段,语音语法的教学任务已经基本完成,词汇教学应该作为这一阶段的首要任务来对待。因此本文提出以扩大词汇量为中级阶段的主要任务,强调在扩大词汇知识的广度的同时,兼顾词汇知识的深度,并结合汉语的特点和规律提出了一些具体的词汇教学方法。

Vocabulary is the core of language,and vocabulary knowledge is closely related to the comprehensive competence of second language. Therefore,vocabulary teaching should be put in an important position in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL),especially in the intermediate stage in which the tasks of pronunciation and grammar teaching have somewhat been accomplished and hence the task of vocabulary teaching should be treated as a premier one. Thus,this paper proposes to take vocabulary size enlargement as the most important task in the intermediate stage,and emphasizes that when developing the breath of vocabulary knowledge,we should also pay attention to explore the depth of vocabulary knowledge. Finally,after a careful examination of the features and rules of the Chinese language,some specific techniques of vocabulary teaching and learning are put forward.
