他心知问题是人们长期争论的一个话题,许多哲学家都对此做了大量的研究,不过并没有取得实质性的进展。克里克认为这主要是由于哲学家们的探讨大都局限于大脑的外部。因而他独辟蹊径,主张打开"黑箱",通过研究大脑内部的神经机制来揭示心灵的奥秘。克里克经过研究,提出意识可能与神经元在40-70赫兹范围内的振荡有关。那么我们就可以通过考察他人的大脑神经机制来认识他人的心理。这给他心知问题的研究提供了一种新的路径。镜像神经元的发现证明了这种路径是合理的。

The problem of other mind is a topic of debate for a long time.Many philosophers have done a lot of research about this.But there has been no substantive progress.Francis Crick thinks this is mainly because of the philosophers are mostly confined to the external brain.Thus he advocates opening the 'black box' and claims to reveal the mystery of mind by studying the neural mechanisms of the brain.In his study,Crick puts forward that the consciousness may relate to the oscillation of ones neurons within the scope of 40-70 Hz.Then we can know others brain through the survey of others nerve mechanism of mind.This provides us with a new solution to other mind problem.The finding of mirror neuron has proved that it is reasonable.
