徐霞客的广西之行及其对广西地理研究的贡献

Xu's Journey to Guangxi and Contributions to the Study on Guangxi Geography

徐霞客是我国古代著名的地理学家和旅行家。他在广西旅行考察近一年时间,足迹遍及广西大部分地区,写下了《粤西游记》,详细记录了所到之地的自然景物和人文风情,为广西现代地理研究提供了历史资料。该文描述了徐霞客在广西旅行的路线和其考察的主要山川洞穴及其记录的民俗风情,着重分析了徐霞客对广西喀斯特地貌研究的贡献;从矿业开采、手工业生产、农副业生产、饮食、民居建筑、村落选址及少数民族文化等方面分析了徐霞客对广西人文地理研究的贡献。

Xu Xiake was a famous geologist and traveler in ancient times.He travelled in Guangxi for nearly one year and his footprints covered more than half of Guangxi,leaving us his travel notes about Guangxi.The travel notes detailedly recorded the natural scenery and human amorous feelings,providing historical materials for Guangxi modem geographic research.This paper described the travel routes of Xu Xiake in Guangxi,the main mountains,the caves,the customs and habits.The author analyzes Xu Xiake's contribution to the Karst in Guangxi,the economic geography research contribution from mining and handicraft production and the human geography research contribution from the administration of agricultural products,diets,local buildings,village location and ethnic culture.
