Analysis of Effects of Hyoscyamine on 153 cases of Obstinate Epilepsy through Arteria Carotis Communis Intravascular Injection

颈总动脉注射莨菪类药物治疗153例顽固性癫痫,完全控制74例,显效43例,有效13例,总有效率达84.9％。毒、副作用小。

One hundred and fifty-three cases of obstinate epilepsy were treated with intravascular injection of hyoscyamine through arteria carotis cornmunis. Our results showed that 74 of the cases were under complete control ,43 improved significantly and 17 improved. The total effective rate was 84. 9%, and the tox-icity and side-effects of the therapy were slight.
