摘要
语言教学的目的是使学生能使用目标语进行交际。学生是学习的主体，所以外语课堂教学应尽可能以学生为中心。探讨了以学生为中心的英语教学思想，并结合实例对这一问题进行讨论，以提高英语教学效果。
The purpose of language teaching is to enable students to communicate in the target language. Only the learner can learn. Therefore English classes should be made as learner - centred as possible and the learner - centred approach is advocated nowadays. In this article, we talk about how we tried this approach in our class by usingpractical examples , hoping to improve our English teaching in China.
