针刺结合穴位注射治疗老年痴呆症临床初探

Preliminary Clinical Study on Treatment of Senile Dementia with Acupuncture in Combination with Acu-point Injection

老年痴呆症是老年期特有的疾病,以记忆力障碍和智能减退为主要特征,严重者导致生活自理能力丧失,造成家庭和社会的严重负担。随着社会人口结构日益老龄化,老年痴呆症发病率呈增长趋势,被列入老年病学研究的重要课题之一。我们自1988年起探索性运用针刺结合乙酰谷酰胺穴位注射的方法治疗38例老年痴呆症,临床分析发现脑血管性痴呆是针刺的有效适应证,现将有关观察结果报道如下:

the article presents the tratment of senile de-mentia with acupuncture.In light of the understan-ding of traditional Chinese medicine on this disease,acupuncture was performed in Baihui,Qiangjian,Naohu etc.in combination with injection of acetyl-glutamine in acu-points,and altogether 38 cases ofsenile dementia and vascular dementia were treated.Prior to and after the treatment,indices of manyexaminations were tested.Among 17 cases of seniledementia,7 obtained the effect and 10 were uncha-nged;and in 21 cases of vascular dementia 2 weremarkedly effective,7 obtained the effect,9 wereimproved by and large,and the total effective ratewas 85.71 per cent.So the authors hold that vas-cular dementia is the indication of this therapy.
