Ambient temperature in the workshop of plasfic bobbins influences spindlelevel of the bobbins,often causing scrappage or repair.This article introduces the properties of plastic bobbins′material—ABS and the method for measuringits Linear swelling coefficient,calculates the amount of longitudinal,axial aswell as total changes in a plastic bobbin.Finally,the article puts forward theoptimum height of spindle level required for the production of qualified plasticbobbins.
