陕西生态环境状况非常严峻 ,水土流失严重 ,土地荒漠化加剧 ,水资源环境恶化 ,森林资源贫乏且分布不均 ,草原生态环境不堪重负 ,生物多样性遭到严重破坏等等。导致陕西生态环境状况恶化的原因主要是 :当地环保意识不强 ;农村环保控制力偏弱 ;水资源开发利用程度偏低 ;人口激增和社会矛盾的演化 ;环保工作及环保法制。

Shaanxi ecologic enviroment is very stern.Soil erosion is severe.Land becomes sandy rigorously.Water sources enviroment has worsened.Forest source is poor and distributed unevenly.Grassland is given excessive burden.Biological diversity have been destroyed and so on.The main reasons resulted in ecologic enviroment deterioration of Shaanxi are:Local governments do not have strong conciousness of enviroment;Rural enviroment can not be controlled rigidly;Water resource is not used completely;Population increases sharply and social contradiction develops; Enviroment conservation work,enviroment law and policies are backward,etc.
